I am trying to buy an online skype number for my small business and would like customers to call me during the peak hours when the company is open using skype if possible.
I want a toll free number to where they can call me but skype is not allowing me to have one. Is there any way that I can get a toll free number to where customers can call me?
thanks.

your customers can call you Skype-to-Skype anytime for free
an Online number allows incoming calls to Skype from landlines and mobiles, once again or free if the number you choose is 'local' to the caller (at least in N. America that is the case), and there are no restrictions on when people can call - Skype never charges anyone to call an Online number, but another carrier involved in handling the call might
in either case, you can answer using Skype, or you can use Skype to forward these incoming calls to another number (this requires Skype Credit or a suitable Skype calling subscription)
you can have up to 10 Online numbers associated with a single Skype account, so you could have Online numbers strategically scattered around the world
but bear in mind that Online numbers are not available everywhere (e.g. there are none currently available in Canada)
part way down this page http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/features/allfeatur es/online-number/ you can click on "Online Numbers are available in all of these countries:" to see a list
