"the blue screen of death"

My computer gets "the blue screen of death" when I turn on the webcam while chatting. THe screen is bright (windows) blue with white script, and then the computer closes down. Any suggestions?

What do you see in Skype – Tools – Options –Video settings?

I used t get this on an older version of Skype 4. Had to revert to an older version till Skype got it fixed in a later release. This is usually a bad driver for one of your devices, probably the camera, or something camera depends upon.

Be careful when downloading Skype from unknown servers.
