problem with only ONE Skype connection. _?

I have no problems with my skype connections except with one friend.After a few minutes of talking we get disconnected and I have to reboot to get back on line.

She has no problems with anyone else except me ?

any ideas why this happen ?

I did Skype her from my Ipad, and had no problems ?

What type device are you using when you have the problem?

What type device is she using?

How are each of you connected to the Internet?  Cable?  DSL?  Etc?  And wired or wifi?

She's on a laptop.......all I know.

I have wireless linksys desktop

When you talk to her, get her to click on Help > About Skype to see the specific version number she's running.  You should do the same.  If either of you isn't already running the current version, update via this link:  http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-full

And you didn't answer my question about how you're connecting to the Internet.  Yes...a Linksys router, but what's it connected to?  Cable, DSL?  Or....what?

sorry I didn't answer immediatley , (and answered stupidly) I have cable Brighthouse in Florida it's called roadrunner. my version is 5.8.0.158, that I just upgraded as you adviced.

I Skyped my friend who also have cable and her version is 5.5.0.113 she said she'll upgrade also.

same thing happened as we were talking,disconnect and poof she's gone .

I guess the problem is on my end, since I can talk to her with no problems from my Ipad ?

Than again, I don't have this problems with anyone else on my call list ?
