facebook account disable

Hello, I need help to disable my facebook account on skype. Whenever I login to skype I login to my facebook automatically. I need to disable this. I want to know the process to disable my facebook from skype.

Right... But it would be nice if SKYPE HOME would load (!). Since it does NOT - disconnecting from Facebook issue remains... The only way to prevent the latest Skype version from AUTOMATICALLY putting me ONLINE on Facebook (against my will and my PRIVACY !!!) - was to remove Skype 5.5 from my computer completely. I am suprised how Skype is managing to make Skype console worse and worse with each new version... I already warned all of my friends NOT to install the 5.5. version for this reason.

I'm not sure if you read all the suggested procedures.  If for some reason your Skype Home page doesn't load (which is another issue), you can disconnect your Facebook account from your Skype account by logging in to your Facebook account, then going to app settings.

The 'hide facebook friends' option in the 'Contacts' menu seems to have done the trick for me. Lets hope.

My problem is that every time I open Skype, it disconnects my Facebook account from being active in my browser, so that when I switch back to my browser and go to Facebook, I have to log in again. This is a huge pain in the er-Hem, and a bad oversight on Skype's part. Opening Skype should not have anything to do with whether or not I am logged in to Facebook through my browser.  I also am going to remove the new version of Skype and go back to the old one.
