Why I cannot log in to my skype?

I can't log to my skype account, I have newest version of program and checked firewall. Are there any known problems with connecting to skype?

The same thing is happening to me! It tries to log on for a while and then says "skype can't connect".

Does anyone know the issue????

I have the same issue comming and going for several days already. On windows 7x and 7 32 bit. From different ISPs and different versions of the software both latest and 4.2.0.187.

Usually have to spend several hours while skype tires to connect. FIX!

i am experiencing the same thing and i have no idea why i hope someone comes up with an answer fast mine also says cant connect but i was told by one of my contacts that it shows im logged in but a bar comes out saying "skype cant connect" someone please help!!

Same problem - it can not connect and drops me from server ("Can not connect to p2p"). The problem is with Slackware Linux and Skype. With Windows XP + Skype 5.5+ it connects, but with my PC and Linux - no luck. Solution?

I can log in to skype but if I try to look at the account page, it says "Please wait while the page loads" but it never does. So I can not redeem a voucher. Can anyone help as this means I am unable to make telephone calls with skype? Thanks

I can't log in either from my computer for past few days. The circle keeps spinning when I try logging in but I can log into my account on other computers. Please help fix this! Thank you.
