Skype for Playbook

Hi Skype Devs.

Can we please get Skype for Blackberry Playbook?

Its got an awesome front facing camera which is doing stuff all without
awesome apps like Skype available.

Playbook owners can finally get Angry Birds, so i assume there would be enough Playbook owners to make it viable?

Huge thanks in advance. I for one would gladly pay for it too

Re: Skype for Playbook

I believe it is an absolute MUST to have skype for PlayBook, maybe as an Android App if it is not written using NDK? Or in the worst case developing Skype for QNX?

Many people are asking for Skype on PalyBook.

Thanks,
Alex.

Re: Skype for Playbook

I argee with all of the previous posts. Im so sick of Android and Apple Ipads getting all the love.

With Blackberry discounting Playbooks for a while now I would imagen there are enough Playbook users to justify a Skype app.....It may even help the sale of Playbooks as that is one of the common questions.

Show us some love PLEASE!!!!

Re: Skype for Playbook

having playbook and skype working together with a 3 megapixel front face camera would be terrific to use. would be great to see that application working.

Re: Skype for Playbook

our company just bought a several of playbooks.  i would love to see Skype and RIM mke a paybook client.

I found this alternative to Skype called IMO (https://imo.im/now) it looks like it might work as the Playbook has full Adobe Flash support.   Anyone tried it?

Polycom is also making a multiplatform video chat product.  I will update everyone when we get the demo at work (H.323 support).

Re: Skype for Playbook

I can see people spending loads of money on credits so they can get their calls on their PlayBooks... Why let such a cash-cow go to waste? :surprised:
