Signing in issues :/

Basically, I am trying to sign into my skype account, I am sure my internet and password and surname are all correct but it just turns and seems to be loading for hours.That do I do?

What type device are you using?  Mac?  PC?  Mobile?

I am running on Win7 64bit and it started after the  last upgrade.  If you have any suggestions, I have seen a few other people on here having the same problems.  Thanks in advance for any help you may have!

What Firewall and Antivirus applications are installed on your computer?

I use AVG Free edition. I have for the last 2 years on this computer.

Try to start Skype with AVG disabled.
