SMS - Delivery failed

Since a few days, The SMS which I have sent were not delivered.

Skype tells that the SMS's are sent. However after 24h it tells 'Delivery failed'.

SMS can be sent by mobile phone without having any trouble.

Skype is actually charging these "not delivered SMS" !!!

Anyone who can help - or at least explain me what is going on!?!

Yeah, been noticing the same problems here, so I ran a small experiment. It seems that an sms goes through without problems if the receiver has a "low tech" phone, but delivery failures happen on mid spec and higher phones.

The phones used were:

Blackberry 7290 - no problems

ZTE - no problems

Samsung Galaxy S - almost all failed

Nokia C1 - almost all failed

I might be wrong, but it seems that if a phone has intenet connectivity, then the problems arise.

Can any pro's climb in on this thread and check for us please?

I just realized that my sms's to a friend in Korea are not going through.  But skype has managed to ding me for every one.  To top it off, I can't figure out how to contact them for credit.  Anybody know what's going on?

same here! i sent a lot of messages to my friend in Vietnam(she using ip 4s), almost of messages were failed. and skype is deducting my credit for each sms(even it is not delivered)

I have got the same problem. It worked fine a few months ago.
Now, every SMS to a vietnamese person will not be sent at all
I have contacted 3 times the tech support but they did not respond yet...
