Remove one person from group chat - used for IM group chat

Hello, I am part of a group chat.  One person is no longer part of the group.  How can she be removed from group chat?  Assistance is appreciated.

It depends if you are the owner of the group chat... Basically if you created the room you are the owner.

Only the owner can remove people from a group chat as far as I know.

The way to do that is right click on the person you want to "kick" out of the room and choose "Remove person from this conversation" that is the last option.

This doesn't work for me.  I'm on Skype 5.7 (Mac) and there is no such choice with a right click on a person's name in the group chat.

To use this you need to type in "/kick [skypename]" (without the square bracket and remove quotes) in the group chat IM window. replace skypename with the name of the person you want to remove from the group. This would be simply like you are sending a message to the group.
