Microphone settings

I have just started on skype and everything seems to work except that when I speak to a caller my voice sounds like Darth Vader! I have tried all the suggested setting checks but no luck so far. Any ideas?

my microphone does not work .it is new one but every thing work very fast in the skype.send setting me.

It must be the case whether your internet connection can't handle the voice call that you're making or the even more possible, your mic might be broken.

Just check everything first and see how it goes. If it still doesn't work, probably it is then something else entirely and we'd be all glad to help you!
