Since I installed the beta upgrade, the sound and video quality has been absolutely terrible! During video calls, the video freezes and there is a delay in the transmission of sound and so a sentence sounds like "How..........are..thi.........ngs....in B................ru...sssssss...els?" It gets a little better when the video is shut off. Even during the sound test, the results are the same. The error message says that there is an internet connection problem, but there was no connection problem until I installed the beta upgrade. My system is fine, speed is optimum, firewalls are not blocking Skype. I've tried all the tech support suggestions with no results. I've looked everywhere for how to go back to the Skype version I had before installing the beta "upgrade", but have not found the solution. It doesn't help to find that I can't even talk to a live person for help. I'm tired of spinning my wheels and wasting hours trying to find the answer to my very simple question: How do I uninstall the beta upgrade and return to the Skype version it replaced? If the answer can't be found, it's bye-bye to Skype.

if the normal Windows uninstall option doesn't work, you can try to use a third party program like revo uninstaller (http://www.revouninstaller.com/) to remove the beta version from your computer. Then download the installer for the official versions here (assuming that you are using Windows OS);
