Deleting Status Updates from Home Page

How do I delete all my previous status updates from my home page? I already know how to change it, but for some reason all my previous updates are still showing up on my page.

deleting your own updates in your Skype Home page is no longer possible in Skype version 5.5.

Note, that this will only delete your own mood updates in your home page. Your contacts will still see all your old messages.

I am surprised at this enhancement!!!! as it means the Home Page is now cluttered up with a lot of rubbish

I agree I want to delete the old messages so with the updates they should keep it as an option not take it away.

Skype get this sorted I am sick and tired of seeing my old updates.  You've got a lot of peaved customers and your customer service sucks if we can not control our own home page.  It's not rocket science!!!!!
