Delete account

I forgot my password, and I changed me e-mail address.  So I couldn't get my forgotten password sent to me.  So I had to make a new account.  Is there anyway to de-activate my old account?

Re: Delete account

Hi, sivere-melin1, and welcome to the Community!

Once an account is created, Skype does not delete the account; it can, however, be abandoned.  Here is in formation on this: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA142/Can-I-delete-my-Skype-account?frompage=search&q=delete+my+acc...

Here is information on possible ways of accessing your other account: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA109/I-ve-forgotten-my-password?frompage=search&q=forgot+my+passwo...

if none of the above are helpful, as this is a Skype user-to-Skype user Community, we are not authorized to address account-related matters; please do contact Skype Customer Service.  contact customer service
