Hi just joined and read many threads extensively i dont seem to see any real answers for anything. The key issue here that i have is contacts times which are incorrect, now i have already seen suggested answers saying that the contacts time was entered by themselves so then why do i have several contacts that do not know each other showing 5 hrs behind me when we are all in NSW Australia in the one time zone. that doesn't make any sense....I have also looked and i do not see any place to configure your own time or time zone. It would be much appreciated that if anyone aswering this question tried to use resonable grammar and if referring to some hideyhole where some configuration of the time could be done then perhaps spelling out where that hideyhole is would be helpful. Given the forum threads already read my expectations are fairly low.

Hi There, go to the top of the page and click on skype, then click on profile, then edit your profile, scroll down till you see Time, put in your current time and GMT difference. If you are not sure simply Google GMT time and find a site to help work out the different time. I am GMT plus 9.5 hours.
Sounds hard but just follow the steps and you should be fine, I'll check back now and again to see if this helped.
all the best
