Confused about Skype's services

Hi, I want to make cheap phone calls from a UK landline to a mobile phone in Nigeria.  A friend told me that if I buy a UK online number from Skype, I can call this online number and connect to the mobile phone in Nigeria, giving me cheap calls.  So I paid for an online number for 3 months.  What do I do now? How can I connect this number to the mobile number in Nigeria?  Can anyone help me? My skype username is richard.clark156, thanks.

your friend misinformed you

Skype Online numbers are for RECEIVING calls from regular phones, not for calling

to call a landline or mobile phone using Skype, you either need Skype Credit or a suitable subscription
