Good job... pity that it requires complaint on forum. The C&V guys should take more care for their PR and maybe hire more helpdesk tier stuff to deal with the issues - not to take so much time.
Oh dear. I have just ordered an expensive laptop from this company.
24/6/2012 I pay them over £800 via world pay
25/6/2012 they requested a copy of my credit card and utility bill which I sent.
27/6/2012 They sent me an email telling me that they are busy and will let me know when they have an update. If they had taken the time to read my email then they could look at the attachments and confirm my identity.
Now very worried

marzbetti. Did you ever get your product? My order has blown out to 19 workings days (promised delivey within 3 to 10) and C&V have not yet dispatched it. Just wondering if I will ever get it or is C&V just a scam?
Scam. And when you try to get your mony refunded they just string you along. Also ignore the posting here from them - they don't help it's just a rouse to make it look like they help people. If you paid by credit card speak to the credit card company. For mine I have to wait a month before i can put it into dispute. You might have to request the refund from C&V before you can dispute it.
My wife said to me "If it looks to god to be true then it is". Guess I was silly thinking I could get a £1000 laptop for £800. BTW these people are based in Hong Kong.

And if they reply to this post with some soppy "we will help you....." Don't be taken in.
I purchased a AU$30 headset. I hope your laptop refund works out OK.
And this is what I don't get. In this fast paced, digitally tracked world that we live in, why does it take months to pack and post a headset, or to arrange an electronic refund? This is back to horse and cart days.
It's like there is just one person running this farce of a company. Admittedly I have received emails from at least 4 people and I see a few more names on this forum, but I suspect it's the same person just recycling through names to give the impression there is more than one person running the show.
As a rule, your wife is (always) right. But when buying online, prices should look good because online businesses have less overheads. And being based in Hong Kong doesn't overly bother me as long as they deliver.
So your online purchase decision comes down to... can you trust the business you're dealing with?
And this is where Skype comes in with their 'Global Merchant Partner' stamp of approval .
When I ordered the headset, I thought I was dealing with a company that had the full backing and certification of Skype, a brand I thought I could trust. Guess I was wrong.
I'm having the same problem. Promised delivery for a $30 Skype headset was 3 to 10 working days. 25 full working days have passed and I am still waiting for the product to be delivered. So if you're expecting prompt delivery from ChatandVision, don't.
Did you receive an order confirmation email from C&V with details about the order and how to track the order? Also, what was the promised delivery timeframe when you made the order?
You should have received an order confirmation email, but if you didn't, don't worry, you're not alone. I didn't get one either which further demonstrates the incompetency of that organisation.
Rather than emailing C&V, you should try getting a Case No. To get one, go to the ChatandVision dot com website, click 'Contact us' and complete the enquiry form.
First ordered 2 phones, but the order was cancelled within 24 hours. SO had to re-order again.
Only to find that the first order was charged to my credit card and 2 weeks later no refund or mention of a refund, so had to file charge back for that order.
The second order(the 5 days delivery) not received.
Sent an email and got a response which was "we post regular post, so no tracking, just wait"
another 2 weeks and still no order and same response.
Another chargeback has been filed.
