Caller I.D. doesn't work

I've got caller I.D. set up with my cell phone number. Just confirmed it by trying to set it up again. My I.D. is not displayed when I call. I get rejected my automata who say the recipient doesn't accept without caller I.D.. When I calll my own phone, I see 00012345 as the caller. (That's not even a valid phone number, let alone mine)

I've got the same problem, and my caller ID is setup the way it's supposed to be.

If you log into your Skype account by using the "Account" link at the top of this page, do you see the mobile number you set up as your Caller ID number? If not, try to "change" the setting and you should be able to select your mobile number for the Caller ID.
Even if Skype users have a Caller ID number set up in their Skype account, it is still possible that the number will not appear on the displays of the phones you call. That is something beyond Skype's control, as that is in the realm of the telephone carrier(s) that connect your call to that phone number. You can contact customer service if you need further assistance in this area, if you are seeing your mobile number when you log into your account here on the Skype web site.

Each time I've set it up, I've confirmed that it is set up as my caller i.d. I just did it again.

In fact, I just did a confirming call, and although my cell phone number had been set as the caller i.d., a completely random number was displayed as the caller i.d. on the receiving phone. This behavior is consistent.
