generally agree ... some of the new ones are really better (bow, ninja, phone, ...), but almost all of the standard ones ( , , :-?, :-P, ...) have way too strong lines, which just make them plain ugly

New smiles is not so terrible BUT icons on call screen (i mean when you calling somebody) is the worst icons on the world! Previous icons were understandable - microphone, speakers etc... But new icons are horrible!!!

Same opinion here. Some of the new ones are nice, but most of the old ones were simply beautiful! I used to love the icon (sun) and (hug). Now they mean the same message, but not the same feelings.

I (we) understand that one or more graphic artists developed a work, so I (most of us) think that being able just to choose what set we prefer would be fair and cool.

Come on, guys, you've always been the best because you were interested in what the final user thinks about your service. Keep being cool, please

I specially registered in forum because to express that new skype emoticons are worst addition to skype since I started to use it. New icons are absolutely horrible. Please add option to switch back to original icons.
