Premium subscription - still saying don't have enough skype credit to call

I recently bought a premium subscription and I can see that it is listed when I am on my laptop. However, when I try to place a call to the US through Skype on my iphone, I receive a notice saying that I don't have enought skype credit to place a call. I thought the whole point was that I wouldn't need to buy skype credit if I had a subscription. Please help!

Only some versions of "Premium" include the Unlimited USA/Canada Plan.
