I can't sign in

I have tried to sing in with the right skype name and p/w but the message said as you do not have a paying account we do not have your details. I have only just turned of skype as I am allowing another member of my extended family to use my PC and did not want them using my skype. How do I overcome this problem without losing my username?

Well I'm not sure how I ended up here, I have not been able to sign in for day's now....I have asked for my money back...was given all this run around and what looked like I was on the way to success...then nothing I do is getting me to the  (it's going to work) Why am I only able to reach a person that is also having problems and not to a Skype rep.?  I have been using the free version for years and all was fine...decided to include the rest of the features and have ended up in the twilight zone..   Well as long as my only hope is someone else that has been where I am...what was your solution?????
