I answer a video call and as soon as I see the person windows shuts skype down [ Edited ]

I have the same problem. It's been going on since last night. I can't make a call either, the skype page loads up, then when I activate a contact an error message from windows tells me "Skype has stopped working". Well no kidding! THIS IS IRRITATING ME TO NO END! Windows says it is looking for a solution but can find one. I need a SKYPE phone number I can call !!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been happening to me all day.  It doesn't seem to matter whether or not skype is using the video or the call is without video.  It simply shuts down the entire program after 2-5 seconds on a call.  Windows suggest downloading a new version of skype which I have done three times.  Still the program continues to shut down on every call to every one on my contact list.  I am not having a connection speed issue, so I don't understand why this is happening.

im having the same problum i tride the update and i tride the down grade both dont work. this started happing to me at 11:30 last evning. while i was "skype-ing" my computer radomly locked skype out. i asked my friends on skype if this is haping to them thay sayed no. so i dont know what to do if you find out any thing about this error please inform me>.

I have the problem of skype shutting down everytime I go to type or use it. I keep restoring and retrying, to no avail. I can't figure out what is wrong with it.
