Creating company, shouldn't all other members of company automatically be in my contact list?

I'm creating company & group, shouldn't all other members of company automatically be in my contact list?

 

I just set up a test Skype Manager account and added 2 new business skype accounts.  When I log into skype with one of them, the other account doesn't show up as a contact.  Shouldn't Skype automatically seed the contact list with contacts and groups created with the company?  Am I missing somethign here?

having just started out i noticed something similar. I think the manager should have the possibility of adding contacts for the end user. In my case we are a workgroup of around 20 people that will all be issued ipodtouches with skype installed. The user users are not very computersavy and so i will have to setup the contacts for them, the way it looks now is that i have to log into each individual account and add another 20 accounts which is kinda mindboggling.

As i said i just started out maybe the option is allready there and i have not seen it i will of course finish reading the manuals and look into the matter more in depth.

Hi Sadly I don't have an answer but have the same problem , I spent a lengthy time on the support chat but did not get an answer. Its been a few weeks since this post so not sure if its still being viewed but I'm about to send screen shots via email to the support, if I get an answer I will post a reply.

Hey all,

 

i have found a workaround that at least helps, especially when setting up small workgroups of not too savy computer users.

I interlinked 20 accounts using this method.

I created a bookmark in my browser for each account, you'll have to look up the exact syntax yourself something like skype://add.contact.contactname

the log into the first account and doublclick every bookmark one after another and you'll get the direct (add this contact) dialogue, without having to go through search.

do this once for each account and everyone will be able to see one another right from the start.

This is certainly far from perfect, but it helps setting up a small group pretty quickly.

Performed this action und MacOs 10.6 and Safari so your experience may vary.
