Skype to go

I will be studying abroad in Switzerland and France during the months of May and June, and I am looking for a way to call my family without getting an international plan with my cell phone company. Can I use my mobile (unlocked phone with Switzerland and France -based SIM Cards) and Skype To Go while I am there? When I looked online i noticed it didn't say that the product was available in those two countries. Is the availablitiy refering to the country of the number I am trying to reach or the country of the number from which I am calling? or is it both?

Also, if Skype TO GO will not work in this situation, can anyone recomment a skype product that would? I will have limited access to a computer during these two months, so I would prefer a product that I can use from a mobile device.

1. SkypeToGo isn't available in either France or Switzerland, I'm afraid.

2. It's the country from which you are calling.

3. Either subscription to a Call Plan or Skype Credit would perhaps be the best option.
