Hello,

First check that your privacy settings are set to ''Allow calls from anyone''.
Then change them to "Allow SkypeIn calls from Only people from my Contacts List".
Save and wait for 5 minutes.
Log out from your Skype account and log back in.
Change settings back to "Allow calls from Anyone".
Save and wait for 5 minutes.
Log out from your Skype account and log back in.

log into your skype on a windows PC and do the following:
Tools > Options > Privacy > Show advanced options > Allow calls to my Online Number(s) from… Anyone

Note: "Show basic options" will does not display
  

1. Toos > Options
   2. Click the Privacy tab, then under Allow calls to my Online Number(s) from… selectanyone, and click Save.

If the privacy settings were already configured like this, complete the two steps below to refresh the settings.

   1. Go back to the Privacy tab by selecting Tools > Options and change the privacy settings to allow calls to Online Number(s) from phone numbers in my Contact list only and clickSave.
   2. Wait approximately 5 minutes then open the privacy settings once more and change the setting back to anyone and Save.

I have had the similar issue (except the "# you dialed is not a working # etc").  The solution posted has not helped.  anyone have any other ideas?  this has been a long working Skype-in #.  It still shows on my Online # status and I have $$ in my account.  thanx in advance!!

Update:  The following came from my IT guy... I was not able to see that it was expired, but it is working now:

The number had expired thus became unreachable.  I’ve just renewed it for you.

Just got a new online number xxx xxx xxxx but I get the not a working number piece.  It is supposed to be working for 12 months from now.  HELP!!
