cost of online number call

I bought an on line number registered in Brisbane where my mother in law (82) lives. I want her to call me when we are in Turkey and Greece. How much will the call cost here? The cost of a local call for her? Or will international rates be charged since she is dailing 001161 to get out of Australia.

She called us in Sydney tonight to test the number and could not get through by calling 001161 instead she called the areacode and the number and got through. I take it when we are in outside Australia she will need to call 001161 the area code and the number? But will she be charged international rates?

She just calls the area code and number to call you in Turkey or Greece. If you forward the calls to your mobile in Turkey the most it will cost is 16 cents a minute, and Greece is .22cents a minute. This comes out of your skype credit. If you are online and answer in skype the call is free. Or if you have the skype app on your phone and you answer in skype and, you are on wifi again the call is free.

Thanks for your reply. I don't have anythind sophistocated organsied like call forwarding and I won't have a mobile while traveling. I understand that if my mother calls the online number and my computer is not connect to wifi she can leave a voice message. Not sure how I access this voice message? Do you now?

I take it that my computer will register that she called and I can just call her via my subscription to call Australia?
