Disable Voicemail

I have an online number but I want to completely disable voice mail.  I don't want Skype answering if I am not at my one of my computers.

I unchecked all voice mail options in the preferences on all my computers. But it still picks up. Is there a way to disable it online?

My voicemail is also disabled and it answers my calls.  Does anyone know how to prevent this?

You can disable voicemail completly from the Skype account page.

There is no "disable" button next to the "enabled" box in Voicemail. How do I disable voicemail?

I am having the same problem. I use google voice to forward calls and as voicemail and do not want skype to have a voicemail feature.

Is there anyway to disable skype voicemail???

Are there any email contacts on the skype page?

I also have this problem.  I won't be renewing my "Online Number" if this isn't resolved.  I end up missing calls from customers beacuse I forget to stop forwarding calls to Skype when I shut my computer off.

Where is the disable voicemail button?

If you go to your account- options - voicemail there is a disable button. Click on that button it should disable your voicemail.

If only it was so simple...you must have an older download of Skype, unfortunately with the latest version (for Windows 7) there is not an option to disable voicemail (for paying subscribers) and if you further direct a call after forwarding a call using Skype, Skype has a sensor to disallow this in its latest version. Voicemail kicks in, whether you want it or not, so that one is forced to set up call forwarding to a mobile and pay the princely sum of 23c a minute. However I have solved the problem by downloading a 2011 version of Skype and everything works again!

can someone please let us know what's going on with this? there is no disable button for quite a few people, including myself. please don't tell me to go to this page: https://secure.skype.com/account?page=premium and click the disable button that doesn't exist.
