When a call is forward to a cell phone, is there a way to set up a different alert or caller ID to show up on your phone to differentiate between calls to your phone vs. through Skype forwarding?

There is nothing that you can set up for this. All of this works depending on various things:
1. Where is the caller? Does this caller use Caller ID when calling telephone numbers?
2. Where is your Skype Online Number located? Not all Skype Online Numbers receive Caller ID data from the telephone network.
3. Where is your mobile phone? It is possible that Skype is not permitted to send Caller ID to your phone for those forwarded calls.
With my Skype account, if I get calls from numbers in the US and Canada, I see the caller's number on my phone for the forwarded calls. I don't see anything to show that the call was forwarded from Skype. For calls from phones in other countries, I either see nothing or - in some cases - my own Skype Online Number. Unlike with Google Voice, I have no control to force the forwarded calls to carry my own Skype Online Number as a hint the call came through Skype.
