retrieve old attachments

hi,

is there a way to retrieve old attachments, sent 3-4 months ago in another computer but on the same skype account? viewing the history of conversation does not allow me to do so since the converstation was done through the desktop which was already broken

Re: retrieve old attachments

Hi, grace_gue, and welcome to the Community,

If by "attachments" you refer to files sent via instant message, once those files are delivered to the recipient, they are no longer available.

Likewise, a file sent to someone and opened on one computer where their account is in use cannot be retrieved a second time if the user moves to a different location and signs on; the file has to be re-sent.

Kind regards,

Elaine
