can't change privacy settings

I was having the same problems but I think I just solved it. Change your password, sign out then sign in with your new password.

I only went offline, tried to change settings and then went again online and rechanged the settings.

can someone help me get to options so I can change my privacy settings and start making/receiving calls on my new online number - I am going crazy here!!!! thanks

Help I also can't change my privacy settings back.  Over the past weeks I keep receiving numerous IM & calls from people I don't want to know!! Day & night.  I have had a subscription with Skype for 5years & never had any problem. Tried all suggestions to no avail.  Please advise.
