I received a call and was told to go to sispw.com, which I did not do.
Could not shut off the voice so I rebooted.
When I rebooted, I got a message telling me that updates were installing and not to shut down my machine.
Anyone else seen this?

Hi, jc7777, and welcome to the Community!
I suggest immediately running your anti-virus/malware/spyware software using updated virus signature files, while you are not signed on to Skype. Obviously, it could be coincidence that another update was being downloaded at the time the spam call arrived.
One of my favorites is SpyBot Search & Destroy which allows you to set a restore point.
When you sign back on to Skype, and going forward, please Block and Report as Abuse all such incidents of these calls/contact invitations as they alert Skype to the newest mutation of a known scamming/phishing attempt.
Best regards,
Elainem77

Hi, EncinoHowie, and welcome to the Community,
Please do not respond - block the caller and do not answer the call.
These are known scam and phishing attempts.
Regards,
Elaine
