Someone may be syncing my old account to their device

[ Edited ]

How do I find out whos been synching my old account to their device or pc? I am scared of using it since I am encountering some activity that as if I am being spied on when I am chatting, I place my status sometimes to busy and after I navigate out on my iPhone to scroll data and after entering back skype I get to see my status available? I need to know also if I am being managed to share my conversation by someone without my consent? Need assurance and comfort? Pls copy me on my email address *email address removed by moderator* so that I am aware to what action to take.

Please use plain text.

Re: Someone may be syncing my old account to their device

Hi, Kenkon, and welcome to the Community!

First things, first: for your safety and security, please never, ever include any personally identifiable information in a post on a public community or forum such as this!

The next item on your to-do list is to change both account passwords - the old account and the account you are using now - immediately.  Doing so will automatically sign out the account on any other computer or device where the account is currently on-line.

Then, ensure your computer/device operating system updates and patches are installed, and do the same for your preferred anti-spyware/malware/spam software and run it.  Update your Skype client software/client application.

If the situation is not resolved, report to Skype Customer Service: contact customer service

Regards,
