MBAM removes it.
The virus creates a new executable "C:\Windows\mdm.exe" and runs it
"Mdm.exe" adds it self to the following registry key:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
as
"Microsoft Firevall Engine" pointing to "c:\windows\mdm.exe"
Also runs "netsh" and disables the windows firewall for it self and "MSN Messenger"
The following batch file removes it.
@echo off
Echo Removing Virus from computer...
taskkill /F /IM mdm.exe > NUL 2>&1
echo .
attrib -r -s -h c:\windows\mdm.exe > NUL 2>&1
echo .
del /f c:\windows\mdm.exe > NUL 2>&1
echo .
reg delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr
reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Cur
echo .
Echo Removed!!

Hi Guys,
If you don't want to install any antivirus, please execute the following steps:
- Uninstall Skype
- Select start “Start” -> “Run” and digit “msconfig”
- In screen “Start up” remove the flag to item MDM.EXE and press apply.
- Shut down Windows
- Open Windows in Safety mode.
- Select “Start” -> “Run” and digit ”regedit”
- Use option Edit -> Find, in order to search “MDM.EXE”. Remove all the links it find.
- Select again “Start” -> “Search” -> “For files or folders". Search in all your computer MDM.EXE and remove all the files.
- Remove all the files from the BIN.
Now shut down and open windows in normal mode.
If you install Skype again, it should work fine.
I’m not sure it’s mandatory to uninstall and install skype, but I done in this way and it works.
Good Luck
