Password Change and Usernames

I have recently changed my username. After entering the password token I was asked to select the username I would like to make the password change to. There were two usernames available in the pulldown menue and I would like to delete the second username. I have already looked for that username in my Skype applications support folder  and it is not in there. Please assist.

Skype accounts can not be deleted.  If your goal is just to have one Skype account associated with your email address, you can change the registered email address in the account you no longer intend to use (assuming that you can still access or know the password for that account).
