I keep getting message from people I don't know and most are inappropriate. I have gone into my setting and every time I have to change the privacy to only allowing people I know to contact me. I should not have not keep block people. When are the setting not sticking to where I put them and how are they still contacting me when I change the setting constantly to being contacted by my contacts only. I do have the latest version on both my commuter and my android phone.

There apparently is still a flaw in the Android app that causes the problem you're seeing.  See this thread for more info, including the comment acknowledging the problem by Skype's Claudius.

For the moment, and until Skype corrects the problem on the Android app, the only way likely to fix your problem is to uninstall the Android app and reset the privacy settings on your PC.

Recently I got loads message from unknow people, and I cant set " only allow people in my contact list contact me" on privace setting. Every time I set " only allow people in my contact list contact me", then turn back to "allow everyone to contact with me". It is really annony to me from unknow people to contact with me. Please help!

I am having a problem with skype application on my HTC Sense but i keep getting calls from people i dont know. When try to block the caller it says they have been unblocked. How can i prevent they calling me as i only use skype to connect with family and friends. I am not looking for new friends at all

Lately, since several months, I get about 2-3 contact requests daily from "Generals" in the USA army. I block them but they continue to pour in every time with different names and ranks, though all are supposedly generals. Are all their generals single, lonely, seeking for female company? Is there somewhere a way to report these requests to maybe try and locate the senders? This can't be serious.
