MS Scam report

Skype is free so I undersand I shouldn't complain.
But then enter MS !!! Yes, the author of Vista....

Since MS bought it I lost $5 credit for landline call service
Lost all my contacts ....30ht April was D Day.

No big issue for me I'll get over it

But miltiply a few million users and the result is multi-million $ scam.
After night after night of trying there is NO WAY OF CONTACTING ANY SERVICE DIRECT.

It does not exist....only a community forum

So it is theft on a majpr global scale.
I am taking this to a higher level.

Re: MS Scam report

Hi, Sticky10, and welcome to the Community,

Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service

Here are a few extra notes to guide you along the way ...
You will need to proceed through each step, one at a time. Sign on to the Skype website as requested. Choose the subject and topic which most closely matches the item you need assistance with. Then, continue past Step 2 of the instruction where several articles from the FAQ library will appear for you to review, and proceed to Step 3, Continue Support Request (the blue "button" appears at the lower right corner of the website page). You may also skip through Step 4 where you will be referred back here to the Community; no need to do this as the Community is where you started. When you complete the webform and click Submit, your information is relayed to Skype and you will receive a reply via e-mail unless you are directed to start an instant message chat session with a Customer Service agent.

Your report sounds as if your account may have been compromised ("hacked").  More information and next steps are in this FAQ article:

Re: MS Scam report

Dear Elaine

The answer was not really  satsfactory. I navigate through the labyrinth , went into endless loops, then ended where I started and  ran out of patiance.

However. If I use my downloaded normal Skyle page,  on the night of 30th April, over 1 hour,  all my contacts were gone and my Skype $5 credit was gone.

I checked my payment and uaage history and there was no record of my many regular monthly $16 automatic payments and no uaage record,  I topped  up  with $16 ands this now is the only record.

If it was hacked it was into Skype server . Not me. But you and I know it is MS!!
The public forum feedback cannot be wrong.

I then logged in to Skype....   https://login.skype.com/login
I see my $5 balance is there and the usage record. But I cannoy get from this page  page to a page where Im can actally use my $5 balance.

Regards

Mike
