I just got a call saying my computer's protection was not activated.

Neither Skype nor any partner will call you to inform your about your computer's protection. This is a scam call which you should at least simply ignore, even better if you block that contact and select "Rebort Abuse" for that contact.

How does one block a caller?  Right click on them and choose BLOCK...you can check the box to report them too at the same time.

I got the call too. It told me to go to a website.

I continue to get these calls daily. I block and delete the calls and they continue to come in.  Not sure if this is just an update problem?  What does Skype say?

I keep getting the call on my iphone, how do I block it. It is an advertisement for a protection plan. Do not go to the website, I think its phony

I get these calls twice a day.  I block the caller every time but they keep calling back with a different number.  It has to stop.  If skype can't do anything I will be forced to cancel my skype account.  I won't be harrassed every day by these jerks.  SKYPE FIX THIS!!!

The urgent message interrupted my meditation.  I wondered what to do and if it was legitimate. Thank you all for your comments and what to do!  I blocked the sender and reported the abuse.
