How do I change the display name used in email notification messages?

My profile display name is not what appears in the notification email.

I need to change the name that appears in the "Hi there John Smith," line of email notification messages that arrive when I receive a voicemail.

How do I do that?

The laptop I use was used by another person before me. That person had another Skype account. This account was terminated before I aquired this laptop.

When I tried to set up my own account with Skype I was able to do so but when I started using it I noticed the previous owners Skype keeps on coming up. I can not get it back to using my Skype name.

I have tried numerious times deleting the account and starting again, but it keeps going back to the original Skype name.

Can anybody tell me how to recitfi this situation. I have stopped using Skype because of this.

Simply sign out (Skype >> Sign Out or File Sign Out), the login window will appear where you can enter the username and password of the account you wish to use.
