Because I can't delete old mood messages, I demand Skype to do it!

I use Skype in my business to contact clients. Unfortunately someone wrote several mood messages "for fun" on my profile when I was away from my computer for a few seconds and it's not appropriate messages. My clients can see them and there is nothing I can do about it. I mean, you have to have control over your profile to delete these things. How do I do that and what are Skype going to about it?! We live in a world when you can control everything in the cyberspace but you can't delete old mood updates on Skype!!

So what do I do?

These two links do not show you how to delete your old mood messages, it only show you how to change/update and create new one.

Another thing to add to this,  I tryied to delete my account and guess what you CAN'T,  then I tryied removing everyone from my contact, and I find out the old mood message are still there.  I'm am not  too happy with this at all, and untill this can be fixed, I'm not using skype any more.

Re: Because I can't delete old mood messages, I demand Skype to do it!

Mood messages can be removed from your end, but not in the Skype Homepage of your contacts.  Yet, mood messages can remain visible in your contacts' homepages for a couple of hours up to a few days depending on some factors such as the numbers of contacts your contacts have, and how often their contacts update their own mood messages.

For example in my case, I have at least 50 active contacts, so a particular mood message from any of my contacts can be visible on my page for only 1-2 days, or in some instances, just 4-8 hours (I think that the maximum number of mood messages that the Skype home page can display is only around 20 mood messages).

I agree with you. I also am new to Skype and I strongly believe that it would be more rational for Skype to add a little delete button next to the message box. I mean it will give people a sense of self control over what they write on Skype, don't you think?
