Hello Skype,
First my appologyse if my English is not correct, i'm Dutch.
Today I thought about making a new Skype account, but emidiatly the site from Skype didn't want that, cause there is something with my birthdayyear. I putted there my real year; 1997, that didn't work second; 1990, than 1900 and I even tried 10 BC, nothing worked. What's the problem? Is it because I already have another account, if the answer is yes: Can someone of Skype change my Nickname?
Please help?
Jordy

Hi, Jordy, and welcome to the Community!
In researching your enquiry, I found several suggestions such as ensuring Internet Explorer is not in compatibility mode, etc. Here are threads for you to review. I have not found specific information regarding a young person's ability to create different accounts; I will continue to research this, and post back with an update.
Skype does not permit an account name change. However, you could keep the same account and simply change the name which appears in your profile settings. Several of my contacts display a different name from what their account name actually is.
Another user suggested, "I am using Firefox with the Ghostery add on. Once I whitelisted Skype, everything worked normally."

Hi, Jordy,
Thank you! You are most welcome.
