I am trying to log my grandfather into skype. This is the third time that he has had to reformat one of his laptops and then been unable to log into skype. Previously I could not find a solution and was forced to create new skype accounts each time, losing all of his contacts in the process.
I am furious this time around and it is unacceptable for me to continuously have to change his account info. I have tried resetting his password, and skype rejects both of his emails each time and then times out and tells me I need to try again in 24 hours.
So here is where I am at:
-I know his three skype account names
-I have access to both of his email addresses if a password needed to be reset
-His iphone is still logged into one of the accounts, but I cannot see what the password is for it
Why is it so hard for skype to check the email addresses associated with these accounts for me? I understand it could be considered a "privacy issue" but why can't skype help me out in some way if I know all three of his skype names (all of which are similar), both of his emails, and the contact list associated with one of the accounts?
I just want to get him back on skype, HELP ME PLEASE!!!
