I cannot place calls to landlines or cell phones in the US despite having an active subscription

I am subscribed to Skype's subscription for Unlimited Calls to US and Canada. My subscription is active and will renew it's third year this June 3. Recently, I get "Call Ended - you need to get Skype Credit to call this number instead of being connected to my call on both my Mac client and iOS application. I've confirmed that my subscription is active, yet am not able to call out to any of the numbers on my contact list. Hope someone out there is experiencing a similar issue. I've enjoyed this feature, but will cancel my renewal if I'm just throwing money away.

Any tips or advice would be grately appreciated.

Re: I cannot place calls to landlines or cell phones in the US despite having an active subscription

I just signed up for the premium service yesterday (I have had a "regular" Skype account for years) and seem to have the same problem.  How do I link my newly purchased outside phone number and my new annual subscription together?  I emailed Skype tech support about 24 hours ago and have received no reply.

Re: I cannot place calls to landlines or cell phones in the US despite having an active subscription

I presently do not have my skype subscription linked to an outside phone, skype-to-go number or an online number. I have used my subscription solely with my usder ID. Wish I could help you out.
