Hi, Tera786, and welcome to the Community!
In case you were asking the question, the answer is Skype does not permit this. You can change what displays in your Profile, but not your account user name itself.
Update! In my instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service , the blue "Send" button has been replaced with a green Next button; to file a request via e-mail, click "Send."
Online Safety Tip: Do not accept contact invitations from anyone whom you do not know.

what?! i made my skype accountwhen i was younger and my username is sooo stupid awesomedakota like who uses that i want to change it so could you try and fix this youd have alought more satisfied customers
This is all a bit silly really, especially when us MSN Messenger users were forced over to Skype but had no choice in user name. At very least MS Messenger users should be permitted to change their username.
I agree with the comments that this should be allowed. My username contained my married name BEFORE the affair/divorce... I don't want his name on anything of mine any longer. The same goes for women who get married and had their maiden names but would like their married name now. It seems a shame that we would have to set up an entire new account because women change their names when they get married/divorced.
Usernames can't be changed but Display names can. You can also create a new account and associated new username.
