Extending an existing subscription

I have an existing annual subscription (for several years now locked in at a good rate) for landlines within own country. I want to extend now to include mobiles...so do I just buy a new monthly/separate subscription, or is there another option?

Re: Extending an existing subscription

Hi,

Currently there isn't an option to add mobiles to your current subscription. You would need an additional subscription that covers mobiles from: http://www.skype.com/go/subscriptions

For example if you purchase 400minutes landlines & mobiles subscription then this subscription will be used only when calling mobiles or your Unlimited Australia has exceeded fair usage policy like over 10 000minutes per month.

Skype system will automatically check which subscription is more beneficial for you and if you call landlines then of course Unlimited Australia has higher priority than 400minutes subscription that covers mobiles and landlines.

Re: Extending an existing subscription

Thanks Andre...much appreciated. My annual subscription cost for landlines will not change then, if I simply add another subscription (say so much a month) for mobiles. Is this what you are saying?

Re: Extending an existing subscription

Purchasing another subcription doesn't affect your current one, unless you purchase the exact same subscription. Like if you have Unlimited UK with old priceand you purchase again Unlimited UK with new price. But in your case you are purchasing a different subscription that includes mobiles

You can easily purchase another subscription "Landlines and Mobiles" and it will be added to your account so that if you make call to mobile it will be used. If you make call to landline then your current subscription will be used as it's more beneficial for you.

Re: Extending an existing subscription

Hi All...

This is my first post.

I am based in Europe but am travelling through Africa.

So I have

a Skype Username.

Skypein Numbers x 4

A Dashboard with me as Admin plus one Employee

I want to allocate credit to the employee to call landlines/mobiles in 2x specific countries.

The countries (Ghana+Burkina Faso) are not listed as an option inside Business Manager.

It is an option outside the Dashboard for 'normal' Skype users.

So...

I want to pay for their right to call 2xcountries but I cannot allocate it apparently.

Is there a work around?

Thanks a lot in advance for anyone who knows Skype/Business Manager better than I.

Re: Extending an existing subscription

Hi,

Currently Skype Manager has bit more limited list of subscriptions. Right now you can allocate credit to members and they can call based on Skype rates:
http://www.skype.com/intl/en/prices/payg-rates#cc=GH

Connection fee applies: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA1050/How-much-is-the-connection-fee

Hopefully there will be more subscriptions available in the future.
