how do i close my account?

hi, i have two accounts and want to close one of them, how do i do this? also i have 20 euro credit in one of them, which i want to leave open, but each time i go to make a call i am told i need to buy credit. i have tried all and every suggestion so far including checking my user name and password and has the credit been delivered. yes it has and how could i access my account with the wrong words??? thank you , p.

Hi Patrick,

As you said you have 2 Skype accounts, the one you used to log into this forum doesn't have any credit.
If you wish to make a call please log in with the other account.

If you have the latest Skype then from "Skype" menu choose "Sign out" and sign in again with your second account.

Hi Andre, thanks for replying. I've done as you suggested and deleted as much information from my other account as i could.

However i still cannot make calls from my account with the 20euro credit. This is now my fourth day going in circles so is it possible to finally find out what is going on? Please don't ask me to check sign in names or passwords or to check if the credit has been delivered,this has been four times and more checked already.

 the simple issue is:   I  have bought credit and no matter what number i call  the 'you must buy credit to make a call' pop up keeps appearing.

If not then how do i get a refund and maybe start over with a new account and email address? cheers,pat.

H Pat,

I checked your account where you have credit and it doesn't have any call attempts. Even if you don't have credit and you try to make a call it is recorded in Skype system as failed call attempt, in your case I can't see that.

This is why I asked you to check your username and I can see several failed attempts on your other account where you don't have credit.

From my side only logical explanation is that you are using wrong account, otherwise there is a bug in Skype client. I've sent you an email, could you reply to it with a screenshot and if at the very top of the Skype client window it says account name were you have credit we can start bug investigation.
