can't renew my online number

duno why i can't renew my online number and seems like i can't find my 'online number' option in my account info. plz help!

I would also like to know how to renew - problem in 2011 aw well - I find my online number easy enough but cannot find any renew option - THOUGH I HAVE MESSAGES FROM SKYPE THAT MY NUMBER EXPIRES TOMORROW - HELP me please as love my online number of over 2 years - Wmason48

Hi,

You have one of the old subscriptions where Online Number was part of subscription. This means if your calling subscription is extended then your number is extended as well.

There is no action required from your side.

Unfortunately currently warning emails can't detect if you have the old subscription or new one and this is why incorrect message is sent out.

Really sorry about the confusion, but you can simply ignore this message. Your number is already extended till 2013

had a similar problem although i managed to renew my subscription it automatically renewed an australian number on my account however i wanted a new number as i dont have any use for this as i stay in the uk and have never been to australia i have unlimited uk on my account which includes a free number , voicemail etc

I have on line number. I received a message that it is going to expire. I can not find the online numbers section and can't see anymore any reference to my online number in the accounts. The number is still working but I do not know until when. The number is:

Number is +61 3 9016 4304 

Skype Manager says "The Online Number has been suspended because your Skype Manager has insufficient Skype Credit available. The price of the Online Number is €0,00 every 12 months. Buy more Credit and the Online Number will be reactivated".

There is no option to EXTEND or RENEW this number.  Only to BUY MORE CREDIT or CANCEL NUMBER.

I have EURO 80 credit, and it is not automatically renewing.

Is it possible this number was also part of an old subscription?  If so, can you please resolve asap.

I'm reassured at the suggestion that an email has been sent out in error telling me my online number is due for renewal.  I will ignore it, as suggested, and hope my number will extend until 2013.

How about some help PLEASE? I too am getting email threatening to cancel my online number unless I renew... I've wasted a lot of time looking for a renewal option and there is NONE to be found! If the email message was sent in error... that is just crappy programming! The gact that there is no renewal option (if the email is true) is crappy programming! There is no way to ascertain which form crappy programming is victimizing me... that too is crappy programming and even worse customer service. Does Skype not want my money? That's crappy business practices.

I eventually found a CSR in skype who suggested I CANCEL my online number; and then renew again.  I did this very nervously, but it worked   They reassured me that when you cancel you still have access to your number for period of time, before it go back into general pool of numbers.  Trying cancelling, then renewing.
