Re: Unlimited Calls To India

Hi,

I am also looking for info on this but you can make 6 hrs of call per day at max(called "fair usage policy").

I dont know yet if the calls can be made to mobiles or landline or both.

Re: Unlimited Calls To India

According to Skype`s price list available at the following URL, Unlimited India is both inclusive, Landlines and Mobiles.

 [invalid URL]

As pawansw rightly pointed out, the subscription to Unlimited India is subject to "fair usage policy", 3 main items would be

     10,000 minutes per month

     6 hours per day

     50 different numbers per day

You will refer it at the following URL for further details.

Re: Unlimited Calls To India

By unknown reason, two URLs listed in my earlier message were replaced with a phrase of [invalid URL].  I list again those two URLs with a hope you can see.

Re: Unlimited Calls To India

URL will not be placed.  Will you take following stes.

For having the price list, you will start [Prices]-> [Subscriptions] and input India as "a single country".

In the bottom of that subscriptions page, there are words of "fair usage policy" and you will click it for details.

Re: Unlimited Calls To India

As per 'Fair Usage Policy'

1. 10,000 minutes per user per month

2. a maximum of 6 hours per day

3. no more than 50 different numbers in total can be called per day.

I have taken 'Unlimited2 India' plan  (€13.89/month (€15.97 incl. VAT))

My question is, when you say 6 hours per day, what time is calculated? IST or EST ? Since it is difficult to calculate the quota of 6 hours per day.

Thanks in advance,

Charan

Hello,

Fair usage policy has changed since March this year and now unlimited subscriptions don't have minute limits such as 6 hours per day

Most recent policy can be found here: http://www.skype.com/intl/en/legal/terms/fair_usage/

Re: Unlimited Calls To India

Hi,

I took the unlimited India subscription today and I have a few concerns.

All of the calls are dropped well before 2 hours. In some cases as early as 2 mins and sometimes the call quality was really horrible. The longest duration calls were consistently 55 mins, which makes me think that FUP limits a single call length to 55 min instead of 2 hours. I am totally ok with the 55 min max call length, and I believe that the bad call quality  will be fixed.

But I am worried about the 'unlimitedness' of FUP.  I will surely call less than 5 different numbers (to my family), but the total daily durations may go beyond 6 hours. Also, there is a possibility that I may fail to limit myself within 10000 minutes monthly. If the FUP prohibits that, can you please give an heads up early so that I control my usage accordingly? That way I can avoid getting suspended one fine morning.

Thanks
