First, I wish to say Skype's "support system" is very difficult to understand and navigate. (A second sign-up for these forums? I have before already!) Given that, I'm not optimistic about a valid problem being quickly solved and not presenting me (a paying customer) even greater problems very soon.
Second, and why I'm really posting, I'm receiving a notice that my online number is to expire in 3 days, but I paid for a new subscription 3 weeks ago! See below:
First payment was taken on: Feb 3, 2012
Next payment will be taken on: Feb. 6, 2013
Order reference: xxxxxxxxx
Total amount: $30.48
Yet even that transaction was very confusing because it seemed to cancel my then current subscription, which was to expire on the 25th, to replace it with the new one:
"We are sorry to hear that you will no longer be using our subscription service. We hope you enjoyed using it. Your subscription will terminate at the end of the current billing period, which is on Feb. 9, 2013."
So which is it for my Skype-Out number? Will it expire in three days as a recent e-mail has again informed me, or will it expire on the above date given to me when I paid to renew my subscription?
And if this is confusing to someone at Skype, then imagine the customer's confusion and frustration. I don't know if I will have a Skype-Out phone number in 3 days! This most certainly could have been handled better. Help!

Skype completely sucks. Their customer service doesn't exist. You can't answer every question with a blog or FAQ. I paid my subscription last week on the 20th and to date the transaction has not been completed and when I went to use my service last night for a blog talk radio show I couldn't. I have spent hours today trying to resolve the matter and have gotten nowhere. How can a company be as big as this one with a zero rated customer service still be in existence. Why hasn't someone launched another online phone service that actually gives a crap about servicing there customers?

I have exactly the same issues. It just dawned on me that Skype has Zero effective customer support. Also, I paid for my annual subscription on 21st July, 2012 and I am receiving emails informing me that my subscription will be cancelled in two days if I do not pay up.
Someone please direct me on how I can contact a human customer support. I have spent days going through these stupid blogs and 'help' files looking for solution to my issue.

I guess I am one of many. I bought a 12 month subscription on Jan 3, 2012. Now it is apparently not active. I have no idea why other than I have not made frequent calls on Skype. (They *should* like me for that, right?)
I have not found anyway to contact anyone to speak to about my account. No email address, no phone number, no nothing. Geeze.

I am also disappointed by their service.I bought 120 days' credit to call Bangladesh. But after I called for around 60 minutes,my credit expired.I do not know why.
