Refund request

I have woke up this moring to find my PAYPAL charged £18.00.  I have not knowingly subscribed to anything - I have just wanted to try it out.  I am meant to be moving to Australia in July and my family will all need skype for regular contact.  I was hoping to use the skype for calling various companies etc before I go to set up things (rentals etc) and I would be using Skype with credit so I know where my outgoings are - I do not want a subscription, please refund and advise how to stop.

I have followed a few links and this could be a hack and now I am worried a lot.  I went into the email and it had a paypal looking page, that said if you want to cancel the 3 month subscription click here then it sen me to the paypal log in page which I stopped at.  I have checked my paypal separetely and nothing has happened/been taken out...please advise urgently and if you require further information/links I will pass them on
