I'm new to Skype. It would be nice to be able to email Skype directly or talk with someone, but I guess that's not the way it's done these days.
I wanted to buy minutes with my credit card, but keep getting a failure notice. Why can't Skype just tell me exactly the problem. This is what I get instead:

Reasons for your card payment failing can be:
1. You entered the wrong details. Make sure you have the correct details and try again. 2. You didn't have enough money on your card. Make sure you have enough money before you try again.
3. You might be using an anonymous proxy or proxy server to access the internet, which we don't allow during the purchase process.
4. Skype is always doing its best to protect you from any kind of fraud. Sometimes this can cause perfectly legitimate purchases to be refused.
I have no idea which one it is. I'm considering not even trying to figure it out. Too exhausting!
