I refer to FAQ articles frequently -- many include screen shots which I find quite helpful. For example, here is one which outlines the steps to cancelling a subscription, the first step in obtaining a refund of the subscription you inadvertently started:
After the subscription is cancelled, please contact Skype Customer Service to request a refund: contact customer service
